We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract by Reading Borough Council to provide accommodation and support for young people aged 18 to 24 who are experiencing homelessness.
The service will begin in October 2026 and provide accommodation alongside tailored housing-related support for young adults who may be facing complex challenges, helping them develop the skills, confidence and stability needed to move towards independent living.
For almost five decades, we have been supporting people in Reading and Berkshire who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This new service will allow us to extend that support to younger adults at a crucial point in their lives, including young people leaving care and those facing multiple barriers to independence.

Through our existing services and Work and Life Skills Centre, we have extensive experience helping people develop practical skills, improve wellbeing, access employment and training opportunities, and build brighter futures.
The contract was awarded following Reading Borough Council’s procurement process.
