Thank you for your interest in making a donation to Launchpad! Financial donations are generally preferable, as we are able to direct funds to the area of greatest need within the organisation, ensuring the biggest impact will be made.
However, we understand that not everyone is in a position to support Launchpad through financial donations, and may wish to donate physical items instead. While we sincerely appreciate all of our supporters and the way in which they choose to give and support our mission, we are not always able to accept physical donations. We usually respond to client needs on an ad hoc basis, and have very limited storage and no refrigeration space.
As well, we believe in empowering our clients and giving them dignity, and working with them towards a fresh start. When our clients are housed, we provide them with a bed, mattress, and new bedding as part of their basic needs in their homes. As such, we are unable to accept used bedding, duvets, pillows, or sleeping bags.
We are also extremely lucky to be supported by the business community and we have some amazing contacts who can provide items to us free of charge or at reduced rates, meaning a financial donation would actually go further than a physical one, as we might be able to purchase more for less.
There are certain times of the year when we are in need of non-perishable food items, but we are not able to accept any fresh food due to lack of refrigeration. We will update this page when we have need of specific food items for kettle packs and SWEP.

Alternately, instead of donating your physical items to Launchpad, why not sell them and donate the proceeds? There’s a wide range of great apps you can use – from Depop and Vinted to Facebook Marketplace and eBay – or even hold a jumble or car boot sale, and donate the proceeds to help us with our work!
