At the heart of the Launchpad art group is a team of creatives, who have been exploring their own methods, styles and interests and members would like to invite everyone along to an exhibition on June 24 and 25.
Under the tutelage of Phil, the art group, which meets weekly at our work and life skills centre in Cardiff Road, has gone from strength to strength with members growing in confidence and creativity.
As well as producing art, the group offers the chance to make friends, learn new things and by its relaxed nature, allows interesting and meaningful conversations to take place in a peaceful and welcoming environment.
Coinciding with Reading’s ‘Open for Art’- the art exhibition entitled ‘Play’ is chance to enjoy the voices and individual creativity that is explored by the artists.
Exhibits will include experimentation with different techniques to repetition of colour, shape and form.
The Art Exhibition is being held at Launchpad’s Work and Life Skills Centre, 135 Cardiff Road, RG1 8JF on Tuesday, 24 June and Wednesday, 25 June between 11am-3pm.
It promises to be a great event and there will also be a selection of tea, coffee, soft drinks and nibbles on the day.
So please come down, have a drink and enjoy the artwork on display. A number of the artists will be on hand to answer any questions and discuss any pieces of art if you wish to do so.
