Earlier this year, we invited our supporters to tell us more about their experience of supporting Launchpad, what inspires them to stay involved, and how we can do even better.
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our survey. Your feedback has been incredibly valuable and will help shape how we communicate with you in the months ahead.
The overwhelming message was clear: you care deeply about people facing homelessness in Reading and want to see the difference your support is making.
Many of you told us that our local focus is one of the main reasons you support us. Knowing that your donations, fundraising efforts, and volunteering are helping people right here in our community is important to you
You also told us that you’d like to hear more about:
- The impact your support is having
- The challenges facing people at risk of homelessness in Reading
- Launchpad’s future plans and priorities
- Real stories from the people we support
- How donations are being used to deliver our service
We’re please to say that many of your suggestions are things we’re already working on.
Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing more stories from the people we support, providing greater insight into our services, and showing more clearly how your support helps transform lives.
We’ll also be introducing regular updates about local housing need, the challenges our team is seeing on the ground, and the progress we’re making together.
You’ll start to see more behind-the-scenes content too, helping you understand what it takes to prevent homelessness and support people on their journey towards a safe, stable home.
Thank You
One thing that came through strongly in every response was the passion and commitment you, our supporters have for Launchpad’s mission.
Whether you donate, volunteer, take part in events, champion our work or simply help spread the word, you are an essential part of the Launchpad community. Thank you for helping us support people facing homelessness and housing insecurity across Reading.
Together, we’re not only changing individual lives, but we’re also helping to build a stronger, more compassionate community for everyone.
