As of Thursday 5 November 2020, we will be making the following adjustments so we can continue providing our vital service to people in need during the national lockdown:
Our drop-in service will be closed to visitors during lockdown but the service is still available remotely – anyone who needs housing or homelessness-related information and support can call 0118 929 1111 or email email@example.com, and our friendly and experienced team will be able to help.
Although we will be unable to meet face-to-face with clients for support meetings, we will continue to provide emotional and practical assistance as regularly as required over the telephone or via email, and assessments will also be carried out remotely. We will arrange safe property viewings for clients who are at risk of homelessness, continue to place those in housing need in our supported accommodation, and carry out welfare checks at client’s homes if necessary – which will all be done in a COVID secure way, using PPE at all times. We will only be attending emergency repairs at our supported housing properties.
