The latest lockdown restrictions have started to lift and as of Monday 12 April, our building is open to drop-in visitors who need help with a housing or homelessness issue. Since November, our drop-in service provided support for people remotely via email and telephone.
Whether you’re sleeping on a friend’s sofa, worried about how you’re going to afford your home, concerned about your landlord’s actions, need guidance on how to claim benefits or you’re falling behind with rent payments because of drug or alcohol misuse – Launchpad’s drop-in service can help you get back on your feet.
You don’t need to be referred or book a time to come along – simply visit our offices in central Reading (down the alley at the side of Nando’s on Friar Street) during the drop-in centre’s opening times and speak to one of our friendly, trained team.
Please note – when you visit Launchpad’s drop-in you must wear a face covering and sessions will be kept to 20 minutes, with follow ups via telephone if needed. Visitors may be given an appointment to come back if the drop-in is particularly busy.
