Nescafé Azera Barista+ Coffee Bar at The Oracle Riverside have partnered with Launchpad, and introduced a new coffee loyalty card scheme which offers customers the option to donate and help prevent homelessness in Reading. The Oracle introduced Nescafe to Launchpad earlier this year as they were looking to support a local charity with their community engagement mission to provide ‘mojo with purpose’.
When customers collect six stamps on a Nescafé Azera Barista+ Coffee Bar loyalty card from their drink purchases, they have the option of receiving a free coffee or donating the cost of that coffee (£2.55) to Launchpad. Nescafé Azera will total all contributions made throughout the scheme and will make an overall donation at the end of October, when the pop-up barista bar is scheduled to close.
With demand for our drop-in service increasing due to emergency measures such as the eviction ban and furlough coming to an end, support for our services has never been more needed. Money from this initiative will go directly towards preventing homelessness in Reading at a crucial point in time, as the nation starts to navigate its way out of the pandemic and begin to deal with the economic after-effects.
Nescafé Azera Barista+ Coffee Bar is located at the Oracle Riverside and can be easily identified by the colourful artwork by local artist Kevin Munday adorning it. The scheme is live now and will continue until the end of October so do pay them a visit to have your coffee with a conscience.
