If you’re looking for a summer challenge, how about the wonderful Pangbourne Dragon Boat Race, hosted by the Rotary Club of Pangbourne?  

The event is perfect for sports clubs or company teams as you’ll need 17 people – 16 people rowing and a drummer to keep rhythm. 

Teams compete Pangbourne Dragon Boat Race over a 250 metre course, with each team racing at least three times and the fastest teams progressing to the semi-finals and finals.

Buoyancy jackets will be provided!

Interested?

Simply sign up and pay for your boat, then ask your crew members to raise a minimum of £30 each in sponsorship for Launchpad.

Once you have signed up, we will provide Launchpad branded tops for your team to wear on the day and can help you set up a JustGiving page to make fundraising easy.

The price for a boat this year is £490 (around £29 per crew member) if you sign up before Wednesday, 1 May.

It would be great if you and your team could become a #LaunchpadHero and enter the Pangbourne Dragon Boat Race.
