Join us with your family and friends to start your Christmas celebrations, whilst raising vital funds for local people in housing crisis
Carols by Candlelight is returning to Reading’s magnificent concert hall at the town hall. Our show will be hosted by Launchpad patron, Matt Allwright and long-time supporter Andy Briggs.
We will have sing-along carols performed by the Reading Phoenix Choir and Take Note Community Choir. There will also be readings by special guests and inspiring stories about our work.
You will also have the chance to win some incredible prizes in our raffle – watch this space for details.
How much is a Carols by Candlelight ticket?
Standard tickets are £12 per person. We will also be selling a limited number of priority tickets for £15 for anyone who wants to get a little closer to the action! Children under 3 can attend for free.
Will refreshments be available?
Yes! The Waterhouse Bar at Reading Town Hall will be open from 5.30pm to 6pm for you to enjoy a drink before the event. We recommend you come early – as the bar does get busy. Only drinks bought at the venue will be allowed into the Concert Hall.
Is seating reserved?
Only for priority tickets. All standard tickets have unreserved seating. If you, or a member of your group, have mobility difficulties and require accessible seating, questions please email fundraising@launchpadreading.org.uk or call 0118 950 7656 and choose option 5.
What difference will I be making?
Every ticket sale for this unmissable evening will help Launchpad provide homes for Reading’s most vulnerable this winter. Our supported housing offers warm, clean and safe accommodation for over 100 people in need. They are a lifeline to the many individuals, couples and families facing homelessness.
If you are unable to attend, we would really appreciate a donation this Christmas so we can continue ensuring local people have a roof over their head and a place to call home.
