Drop-in sessions are once again running from our Stables office in Merchants Place, just follow the alleyway by Nandos on Friar Street.
For the past six months our Stables offices have been undergoing essential renovation work and the drop-in area is now fully accessible and a more welcoming area for people who come to us and might be feeling concerned and vulnerable.
We now have a welcome desk and a member of staff to greet people when they arrive, along with a triage room where we can take people immediately.
The work has already improved our visitor’s facilities and we retain our long-standing commitment to be here for anyone in the community who needs support.
Drop-in is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am and 2pm – no appointment needed, just turn up.
The renovations have meant we have had to lose our six colourful stable doors – but a few pieces may crop up elsewhere!
Reflecting the charity’s open-door policy and dedication to helping those facing homelessness, the stable doors have welcomed countless individuals and families seeking guidance, shelter, and hope.
While the doors have gone, this policy remains the same.
