What is Tribute Audax?
The Tribute Audax, an inspiring challenge in support of Launchpad. Taking place on Saturday, 26 April 2025, this event is more than just a ride—it’s a journey through history, science, and stunning landscapes, all while raising vital funds to help prevent homelessness.
With three routes to choose from—208km, 108km, or 55km—and a complimentary curry waiting for you at the finish line, this event celebrates legendary pioneers who helped changed the world. Whether you’re tackling the epic Alan Turing route to Bletchley Park, riding in Robert Boyle’s footsteps to Oxford, or enjoying a scenic Chilterns loop in tribute to Johnson & Matthey, you’ll be part of something truly special.
Start in Caversham, Reading, push your limits, soak in the countryside, and ride for a great cause!

Start & Finish: Our Lady & St Anne’s Church, Caversham, RG4 5AB
Entry Fee: Just £15 per rider (£12 for members of Audax UK & Cycling UK)
Bonus: Enjoy a free curry when you finish!
Ride Options & Start Times:
208km: A Tribute to Alan Turing – 7:30 am
108km: A Tribute to Robert Boyle – 9:00 am
55km: A Tribute to Johnson & Matthey – 10:00 am
Choose Your Ride
208km: Tribute to Alan Turing – Ride to Bletchley Park, where Turing and his team made history, and return through the Chilterns AONB.
108km: Tribute to Robert Boyle – Cycle via Oxford, where Boyle laid the foundations of modern chemistry.
55km: Tribute to Johnson & Matthey – Enjoy a scenic route through the Chilterns AONB, passing the Johnson Matthey Technology Centre
What to Expect on the Day
Arrive at Our Lady & St Anne’s Church for sign-in before setting off on your chosen ride.
Rider Support: Water stations and mechanical assistance will be available and you can enjoy a free curry when you cross the finish line! This is a ride – not a race, its just an amazing experience. However, all riders must return home by 9pm.

Your entry fee helps Launchpad Reading support people facing homelessness. We encourage participants to raise sponsorship to make an even bigger impact. As a fundraiser, you’ll receive:
