Supported Housing Assistant
1x full-time (37 hours per week), Salary circa £19,350 per annum FTE depending on skills and experience.
An exciting opportunity to join our Supported Housing team managing a small caseload of your own clients helping them move forward in their lives.
Launchpad offers accommodation-based support as part of Reading’s Homelessness Services. In addition, as well as housing clients, our Supported Housing Team works with our tenants on a range of support needs including advice and advocacy, life skills, budgeting, mental health, drug / alcohol addictions as well as support around education, training and employment.
As a Supported Housing Assistant, you will support clients with complex needs to make positive changes in their lives. Tenancy sustainment and move on is also key to ensuring our clients can build independent lives, and you will work closely with our Housing Management Team to help clients achieve this. Previous experience of working in support and housing would be useful, as would the ability to manage your own caseload of clients. However, your own life experiences and personal qualities that mean you can empathise with and provide support for our clients are equally relevant.
